Restaurants
Dessert
So many great places for food and ambiance.
Resturants
We have so many locally owned restaurants with a variety of choices in fare. Below are just a few that are close to the Suite
Mexican
There are a lot of Mexican places so to start we're listing a couple that are pretty close to us. We like to visit El Tapitio at 2004 Historic Rte 66, or Salsa Bravo for sit down (they also offer pick-up orders) at 2220 E Rte 66.
We also have a red food truck that parks about a mile away on the East Side of Fourth Street, in the shopping plaza. If you see them they make a great Mole Burrito.
Sandwiches / lunch
For sandwiches, we usually head to the other side of town for Jitters 3504 E. Route 66, they also have good coffee 3504 Historic Rte 66
Another sandwich place on the other side is Crystal Creek also on the other side of town but makes a decent sandwich 1051 S Milton Rd B
Itallian
For Italian/Pizza, Fratellis (East Side) 2120 N Fourth St is within walking distance and has inside dining or take out and they also deliver Handmade, oven-fired pizzas. For more traditional Italian you can go to Fat Olives which is only about a 5 min. drive 2308 E Rte 66
Burgers
We have a Sonic 2 blocks away across the street from the Wells Fargo, but for a local owned resturant and a good burger you can try Diablo Burger 120 N Leroux St that uses100% local, open range-raised, antibiotic-free, and growth-hormone-free beef, or family owned Mama Burger 991 N Fort Valley Rd which is closer and makes a good burger as well and is also a good stop on the way to the San Francisco Peaks, *Mama Burger has been closed for renovations so check back to find out when they open.
Breakfast
There are some good choices on this side of town! Brandy's Restaurant and Bakery is close, located in the Safeway shopping center this is a nice little restaurant that can get busy on weekends.1500 E Cedar Ave Ste 40, Flagstaff, AZ 86004-1643.
In a shopping center just down the road on 4th Street is a little Mexican bakery that has plates as well as delicious baked goods is Gloria's Bakery 2106 N Fourth St, This is a small little place in the Greenlaw Shopping Center but we've had good food there (dining tables are limited and it's often busy)
Another place with breakfast and lunch choices and a fun ambiance, though not as many drink choices (don't let that stop you) is the Toasted Owl 12 S Mikes Pike, Flagstaff, AZ 86001-5596
Cajun, BBQ, American
We like to visit Satchmos which is within walking distance and serves Cajun, Creole, and different flavors of Barbecue and sometimes has a band in summer. They also have pick-up and outside dining.
Another fun one is Bigfoot Barbeque which is located downstairs in the basement of the old town shops.
Sushi and Poki
Arizona is not always known for having the best Sushi, but we do have some pretty good Sushi in Flagstaff. Karma Sushi is located downtown and is always popular. We recommend reservations on weekends. For a higher energy atmosphere but pretty good Ahi bowls you can visit Ahipoki bowls
Thai
We love the Little Thai Kitchen 1051 S Milton Rd Ste D Flagstaff, it's on the other side of town and only has a few tables but has great service and we've loved every plate we've ordered. Another one with good food and is a little closer and well-known in Flagstaff is Dara Tai
Steak
Black Bart's Steakhouse, Saloon, & Musical Revue - Wait staff perform on stage in a Musical Revue, including songs from Broadway, Disney, 60s and 70s, serving oak-broiled steaks, seafood, and prime rib.
British pub
We've had good food at the Cornish Pasty Company. Lots of different choices with some rich flavors.
Indian
On the other side of town but the Delhi Palace at 2500 S Woodlands Village Blvd #8 is the go-to for most Flagstaff residents looking for Indian cuisine. They offer dine-in and take-out.
Vegan options
For organic, local plant-based vegan options for breakfast and lunch, we have the Morning Glory Cafe on 115 S. San Francisco St.
